Dark Ones

She is gone forever,
Lost in this lifetime
Of loneliness and pride

Lost to the people
Who loved her
Or at least seemed to
For she has never really known
What Love is...

She is gone, in a puff of smoke
That reminds one of the putrid smell
Of wrong decisions
But at the same time
Of the beauty of how life unfolds

She is here, in this new world
Making sense of it like a new born
Vulnerable
But growing strong...

My Body will crumble
 and cease to exist
But I will my mind
 to live forever
By inspiring me
To make lives better ...

"She smiles
and talks to everyone she meets
But inside
  she sits alone
Unable to express her angst and fear
  to anyone
  afraid of being misunderstood.

There are times
when walls begin to close in on her
And the suffocation
  is too much to bear
But she sails by
By the strength of her mind
Making herself beleive
That there are good endings
Remindeing herself
that this is not the end...

There are times
  when the amount of pain
  seems too much
And it seems ever-insurmountable
But she clings on
  to little joys of life
Focusing on small victories
  everyday,
Telling herself about the treasures
  this life can unfold.

And so,
  everyday is a fight
But she fights it
And fights it alone
For she chooses it that way
For her freedom is her strength ...

-------------------------------------------------------------------

When the past haunts,
The future scares,
And the present is hardly any consolation.....
Life seems to come to a standstill.
Like a cataclysm,
Dreams fall apart and the pieces
Are too far apart to collect.
Hope is the one thing to hold on to....
But who wants to
Cling on...
Precariously placed for too long to sustain....

It's just as long as the mind can stretch...
Just as long as the last shred of strength doesn't snap,
That a person stays,
Albeit out of the game,
And watches mutely always expecting the worst.

This life isn't beautiful.
It is  akin to parched land
with cracks and fissures beyond redemption...
This life must end, for it has no life left within it...
